15-19 October 2018
led by resident artist, Gill Miller
During your stay, you will learn and practise a wide variety of artistic techniques, exploring one theme in many different mediums. As you fill up your sketchbook, you’ll get a chance to try your hand at techniques – for example, still life sketching, printing, colour-work, pen and ink drawing, painting, collage, and photography under the tutelage of a qualified art teacher and master craftsman. The peaceful and picturesque backdrop of the Cathedral of the Isles on the beautiful Isle of Cumbrae will provide plenty of artistic inspiration and space for personal reflection.
You’ll take away a comprehensive study of your chosen subject, and a whole new set of creative skills and experiences which you can use in your future projects. Sketchbooks and all materials will be provided.
