Friday 2nd – Saturday 4th November 2018
Led by Jayne Middleton
In this unique weekend, Jayne will gently guide you through the process of empathy (nvc.org) and The Work of Byron Katie (thework.com) to discover how these tools can help us live with more compassion, clarity, focus and truth. In Jayne’s experience, being able to understand ourselves and others with an open heart is vital to living as your true Self. By the end of the weekend you will have a felt sense that it is possible to live in a state of love, peace and joy on a more regular basis. This will not end after the retreat: you will leave with tools that can be accessed at any time if you choose.

Jayne has shared aspects of Marshall Rosenberg’s nonviolent communication (nvc.org) since 2011 specialising in empathy. In 2013 she trained in Empathic coaching (empathiccoachingrevolution.com) and currently offers 1:1 coaching, staff development training and empathy circles. She has attended Byron Katie’s 9 Day School for The Work (thework.com) and has permission to incorporate this process into how she serves others. Through lived experience Jayne has found that using empathy and The Work has helped her be more present, alert and with a steady flow of energy as a more regular way of being. She acknowledges this is a journey of continual practice and growth.
“At the start of the call I felt overwhelmed, exhausted and had got to the point I wanted to throw my PC out of the window. I didn’t know where to start. Jayne helped me to discover a core belief I have been holding that has been driving me to take on more work than I can cope with. She facilitated me through the process of The Work and in one hour I felt more lighthearted was laughing, the room seemed brighter and I felt like I was on holiday”. (Emma Quayle)
