Stained Glass Painting

27-31 August 2018
led by resident artist, Gill Miller

The Cathedral of The Isles is rich in stained glass, which will provide much inspiration for this exciting practical course. We will explore the different techniques of fired painting on glass, under the expert tuition of a master craftsman in stained glass.

You will practice various painting methods and techniques on trial pieces of glass so that you can explore texture, mark making and design. You will then design and paint your final piece which will be fired for you to take home .Please wear a sturdy pair of closed-toed shoes. All your glass, materials and tools are provided.
